First Floor - Alkek One Student Gallery
The current exhibit in the Alkek One Student Gallery was produced in collaboration with a campus partner - Disabled & Proud. The featured artwork highlights the personal experiences of disabled students at Texas State University. This art exhibition aims to foster a greater sense of community and offers disabled students the opportunity to express their voices. The exhibit features images and discussions related to mental health struggles.
Second Floor – School of Theatre, Dance and Film Treasure Island Book Display
Step into the world of Treasure Island with book treasures showcasing buccaneer wonder in our second-floor book display prepared in collaboration with the School of Theater, Dance and Film! Catch up on your Treasure Island reading exploration and go see the Texas State performance of Bryony Lavery’s adaption based on the Robert Louis Stevenson book. The production runs Feb. 10-15 at the Texas State Performing Arts Center.

Third Floor - Third Floor - Black History Month
In honor of the 100th-year recognition and celebration of Black History Month, this exhibit which was created by Student Involvement and Engagement features archived photographs documenting Texas State’s first Black student organization, the University’s first Black graduate, and the founding of the first Black fraternities and sororities on campus. Visit the third floor to experience this powerful display celebrating Black history, culture, and legacy at Texas State.
