Dr. Kelly Visnak, Associate Vice President and University Librarian

Vice Provost and University Librarian (AVPUL): Dr. Kelly Visnak began leading University Libraries in August of 2021. She came to Texas State with more than 20 years of experience in libraries including stints at Emporia State University, the University of Wyoming and UT Arlington. Visnak is responsible for the administration of University Libraries which includes the Albert B. Alkek Library, the Round Rock Campus Library, the Archives and Research Center, The Wittliff Collections and University Archives. University Libraries' mission is to advance the university's teaching and research efforts and to supports students, faculty, and other researchers by providing user-centered services, comprehensive and diverse collections, individual and collaborative learning environments, and opportunities to learn, create, and discover.
