Each day's open hours can be found on the library's home page by clicking on the calendar icon next to Alkek Library under the Location & Hours header. Below are the normal hours of operation for the library during the academic year and summer. During semester interims, the library is open Mon - Fri 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed on the weekends. The library will be closed for the following holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Thur. - Sat.), Winter Break (1 week), MLK Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th.

Administrative and staff offices within the Alkek Library are open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
